That’s the name of the book I finished this morning.
Lately I’ve become interested in animal behavior & training so I’ve been re-reading books that I have while I look for new books. I thought it would be mainly about horses since the hardcover edition has a horse on the cover. Not that big of a leap really. But you can apply this book to all animals. I forgot that the author (Dr. Temple Gandlin) has Autism, so my intrest was sparked even further. If you’re interested in animals and/or how people with Autism think you need to read this book. (You can read reviews here) Dr. Grandlin has Autism “just enough” to have to deal with it on a daily basis & she can communicate those issues to people on the “outside.” Also, and most importantly she’s become successful despite her Autism. She’s living proof for those parents who have children with Autism that it’s not “diagnosis” for a incomplete life.
