Delayed But Not Denied

Standard

Remember not-so-way-back-when when I said my life is a broken record.

Well the Lord has another plan for me.

Anyone surprised, or even shocked, by that?

God’s delays are not denials;

He has heard your prayers;

He knows all about your trials,

Knows your every care.

God’s delays are not denials,

Help is on the way;

He is watching over life’s deals,

Bringing forth the day.

God’s delays are not denials,

You will find Him true;

Working through life’s darkest trials,

What is best for you.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the LORD. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes.
-Jeremiah 29:11-14

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
-James 1:2-4

Mary responded,
“Oh, how my soul praises the Lord.
How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!
For he took notice of his lowly servant girl,
and from now on all generations will call me blessed.
For the Mighty One is holy,
and he has done great things for me.
He shows mercy from generation to generation
to all who fear him.
His mighty arm has done tremendous things!
He has scattered the proud and haughty ones.
He has brought down princes from their thrones
and exalted the humble.
He has filled the hungry with good things
and sent the rich away with empty hands.
He has helped his servant Israel
and remembered to be merciful.
For he made this promise to our ancestors,
to Abraham and his children forever.”
-Luke 1:46-55

Serve the LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling.
-Psalm 2:11

Since I tried for over a week to come up with the “best” possible post for tomorrow (scheduled of course) with no luck all I’m asking is that you pray for me.
